Greetings Adventurers!
In my last post, I mentioned some changes coming to Terrapin’s Trove. I’m happy to report that we have completed our cross-country journey and are settling into our new home! With the move behind us, Terrapin’s Trove will be returning to business as usual with the exception of made-to-order sets.
When I started Terrapin’s Trove, my goal was always to make dice and accessories in the most eco-friendly ways possible while recouping some of the costs of the hobby. I never intended for the Trove to become a traditional business or for sales to turn a profit. Made-to-order sets fall outside of that original scope, so I will no longer be accepting those types of orders.
I’ll continue to operate Terrapin’s Trove at my own pace and list products as I have them available. This will generally happen when I create an excess of dice sets while experimenting with a particular look, or when I make sets to avoid wasting resin but ultimately decide that I don’t need to keep them for myself. This approach lets me continue making dice without creating unnecessary waste or turning the hobby into something that feels like a second job.
Digital products will also remain available on the site. At the time of writing, I only have one available, but I plan to continue working on adventures when time allows. These products help offset the costs of researching, writing, and polishing my adventures while giving me another way to stay involved in the TTRPG community.
Since we’ve made it through the big move and are getting settled, I’m also bringing back the sale from my previous post! I’m offering 20% off all dice sets with the coupon code NEWADVENTURE, and all purchases using the coupon will receive a free copy of The Mysterious Court of Wisteria – Early Access Edition.
In the coming weeks, the site may go through some minor changes as I update our policies to reflect how Terrapin’s Trove will operate going forward. This may include updates to our shipping, privacy, and other policies.
Thanks again for sticking with us through these changes. The past few months have been chaotic, but I’m excited to see where this next chapter takes us.
